"I was with State Farm originally under Ron Sanchez and then transferred to Jamie Anderson. Since that change took place my policy amount has varied drastically from month to month for the past year. I called to ask why my auto pay had changed prices three times in three months (June, July and August) without notice or warning and was given an unclear answer as to why because the guy was new. Still never really have gotten a clear explanation as to why my premium jumped $100. I informed them because of this I would be shopping around for different insurance. The explanation i was given was from an accident that was almost 2 years ago now and that the rate on trucks has changed. Apparently only Ram trucks had an increase. I had been with them for over 10 years and had never had these issues before. I spoke with the same new guy there (as Jamie doesn’t call you back it’s always someone in his office) that couldn’t explain to me the changes, and told him that I was going with a different company and my policy ended on the 26th of August 2024 and that I wanted to make sure they didn’t pull the funds out of my account as I was no longer with them. I was informed that it shouldn’t come out (as I talked with him before the due date) and if it does that it will automatically be refunded. Well, you guys pulled the funds from my account and now I sit here waiting for a refund… Had to send three text messages and leave a voicemail for them to call me back and tell me what I was told was wrong and they should be looking at refunding it today or tomorrow but they are not sure. Never had these issues under Ron… The lack of communication on their side when they change your premiums is nonexistent. Keep an eye on your bill!!"

We always want to explain things in a way that makes sense, and I regret if we didn't do so. In this case, the variance in amount owed was due in part to a rate increase on your policies which renewed in different months. Regrettably, we are unable to stop a scheduled payment from processing within a day of its due date, but today our billing department has mailed you the refund.
